Hello! This last week’s travel schedule has been bonkers so I haven’t had much time to write. That doesn’t mean my senses aren’t full to bursting however… here are some examples:
Fig.1 -Fluorescent BROWN!? WHO KNEW!? ALASKA did!
Fig.2+3 -No big deal. Just some ancient glaciers that liquify into quicksilver rivers then become mist and fly after millions of years looking like a frosty serpent dragon’s back with a skittering dorsal stripe down the center… what a LIFE a glacier has!
Fig.4 -A beautiful tip of a tide flat that looks so mineral-rich I want to eat a scoop of it like a little bowl of gelato.
Seeing other people loving Alaska makes me incredibly happy. Thank you!
Just returned home from the fairbanks concert. You seemed exhausted but gave us a wonderful concert regardless. So glad you shared your time with us in this amazing state. Couldn’t help but notice how many songs mentioned our relationship with Earth. Glad you were able to glimpse the glaciers from 30,000 ft. Now, for you to return someday to walk beside and on them and hear their groaning and sighing. Perhaps in Denali natl park?
