Knowing you're just down the 5 from me is weirdly comforting. I don't have a place that feels like home to me anymore, but I just moved to Washington and i absolutely love it. hoping this place can be that home.

I look forward to these so much, I also adore Aimee Mann who does little cartoon panels on Instagram that also make me tear up in my allergy affected eyes. Why? I don't know perhaps it is the connection of collective humanity or just my ageing soul creaking towards life's exit.

You and Aimee and all the others I treasure are very dear to me. Thank you Neko.

Ohh this makes my heart sing that you got to spend several days in T-town! Your guts are still strewn all over that city of yours. To think you were at Girl Trouble!! Man, I feel like I missed the event of the decade! But so glad you got to see your crew in one full epic sweep! So many feels. It is the city where we bonded post-B-ham. Hope to see you again one of these days either at one of your shows or in New England. I have to get over to NH/VT for various reasons. I won't have a poodle or other creature with me but will love on yours. xoxoxoxo

Someone I know was dissing Tacoma recently, and I had to jump in and defend her! I really liked my years in Tacoma, but you have to know the little niches there (which may be the whole reason I liked it…). I’m from Spokane, anyway, so I’m used to having to defend my city. :)

Crocus/daffodil time and the last damp cold gasps of winter in March are the freshest time of year here - wouldn’t trade them for anything.
