The red leaves are gone. There are now fluffy-looking grey spaces in the trees where they used to be. It’s strictly orange, rust and yellow now. Very appropriate. I smelled snow in town yesterday. It lifted me off my feet for a second. What a thrill!
Out here in Seattle we are still stuck in a weird zombie end of summer. It is supposed to *finally* start raining in a few hours... first real rain since June. The air is stale and ashy, everything feels like it has gone past its “best by” date but no one is restocking the shelves. We’re all holding our breath, figuratively and literally.
I totally loved this description of your cats' movement - The cats are getting zoomier with the below 40 nights we have been having. They blaze through the house like cracked-out squirrels in a giant pinball machine. WOW! Thank you.

ahhhh it's finally here and it's like an embrace!
So happy the smoke is gone and fall is finally here!

I absolutely love the sound of thundering cat peets on wooden floors, it's cute every time.
Wow that blue flower sure is “toothy” as all hell. Thanks for bringing it to my attention that way.
Wisps are voodoo magic I want to see one
Be kind, belly buttons and spooky season greeting Neko. Like a will o' the wisp you always mesmerise this old unit.
We are blessed to peak into your most unusual and wonderful perspective on our world through this vehicle, THANKS!
Floating, blue chicory!
Oh zoomies, how I love thee.
