Thanks Neko for a wonderful time in Boston (Des Demonas kicked major ass!) Over the past 20+ years of your concerts I have to say it was one of my favorites. Such a nice mix of new and old and the band sounds fantastic.

It’s that ‘Louise’ tune that gets me these days. There is a moment towards the end of the song where it slows down and you hit that vocal. When you started the tune, I mentioned to my partner that this number “slays me.” While I will often well-up at shows, in Boston I did something I’ve never done. When you hit that particular vocal, I literally burst into tears. (I was a bit of a wreck after that lol but I pulled it together eventually.) You are amazing and thanks for sharing your art with us. Travel safe!

Happy Halloween! The Pabst is a great spot at the other end of things as well-- I was an audience member at that show. The thoughtfulness their crew has really shows in all of the little ways that you don't see at some other venues. The energy was great there. Probably helped that many of us spent a good chunk of the afternoon protesting! Enjoy soaking up larch season and recharging!

I'm sorry that parts of the tour were tough but I'm glad that you felt your friends with you. I can't begin to tell you how amazing it was to see you in Woodstock- each time we see you, you sound better and better. Thanks for introducing me and the husband to Des Demonas; we bought their album the same day.

I've missed your writing and appreciate you taking the time to post!

What a remarkable read! Thanks for finding those words and putting them into one place.

It was so great to share the space with you and yours in Milwaukee. No Kings! might have added to the energy of that day in a good way and I'm so pleased to have gotten to share some of that.

Our conversation continues to resonate and sorta haunt me. What an absolute joy it was to spend a little time talking through some of which is gnawing at all of us right now. Your words so frequently strike chords in my head and heart, including the 'iron weighted worst of the worst' in your piece today. I'm honored and humbled that you would elect to say anything.

Even when it's not easy, the important stuff must never go unsaid. I will always have room for more with you. I'll be ready and looking forward to what comes next, whenever that comes to pass.

Between now and then, I look forward to making time for the memoir! Stay strong and enjoy the next leg of the journey.

I love your new album, Neko. It hasn't left my turntable for the last two weeks. Thanks for sharing your art (and, heart) with us!

Thank you for your words in every form. This new album has required a different ear than others, and I love that so much! I’m fully immersed in the canons of melodies and harmonies that haunt and soften the worries I carry about so many things far out of my control. I wonder if your musical theater work is changing how you approach your own writing.

I imagine that’s what touring is like. Many doors open to what you bring, but the many hands in your wallet must make the whole experience feel anti-Neko in so many ways. You actually perform and write and promote. It makes you wonder how these third party grabbers got so much power over every musical venue across the country.

Just know I’m psyched to see you in Denver for the eighth time. You’re an artist I won’t miss, even being in hospice. I just can’t miss this show, even though I doubt you’ll have your overhead projector handy this time around. Miss the old days but still love the new ones.

I'm glad Massey was in the highlight category (as per the pic) - certainly was for those of us in the seats <g>.

We saw you the night after Pelham in ATL. I’ve seen you at least 20-25 times and that was by far in my top 2. New album is extra great as well and the new songs sounded majestic live! Thank you for you!

Your show at the Beacon in NYC was incredible! And I won’t spoiler anyone…but the song you chose to close the encore with brought me to tears. That song has gotten me through some of my darkest days…so thank you for that. ❤️ and for creating a phone free space.

I can’t imagine how exhausting touring must be, even when it’s good. For what it’s worth, you were as powerful and present as ever. I hope you get some rest!

Happy Halloween, Neko! It is the best day, indeed. I celebrated by getting a spooky tattoo of a loon. I saw you at the Pageant. I love that our beloved local bookstore was selling your book at the merch table. I sat closer to the stage at this show than I have at others and it felt like you were looking right into me! You and the band sounded exquisite and played with flow-y, effortless-looking perfection. I think all of us in the audience felt the vibe from the stage. I felt cracked open in the best way and part of everything all at once. Thank you!

Flew all the way from Europe to see you play front row at the Agora in Cleveland — totally worth it. Loved every minute and the new album is incredible.

Keep it up — your music truly changes lives!

Milwaukee and The Pabst Theater Group love Neko. She helps us to feel alive again like putting our fingers into the dirt and feeling the earth.

The Massey Hall show was so good! Fantastic sound, the band and you were so ON. Great pacing, nice mix of old and new material. The Neon Grey Midnight Green songs were gorgeous. The tribute to Dallas Good brought a tear to my eye. Love is strange indeed. Left the venue feeling energized and positive and joyful. Thank you.

Lucky enough to see you at The Salt Shed in Chicago. What a venue, what a show. I have followed your music for what seems like forever and it just keeps getting more and more amazing! This tour was definitely one of my favorites and I've see you at a variety of venues in Chicago over the years. THANK YOU for sharing your talents with the world. Music and creativity mean more to me now than ever with the dumpster fire outside my door. Big HUGS!
