Good morning from the first show day of tour. It’s always one of the scariest and most exciting. We have practiced our buns off and are ready to play. The first show is tender and we don’t do it just any old place. We will be making mistakes, playing new songs and in a new configuration of musical personnel. It’s a very vulnerable place to be. For this “1st night” we are in sweet Missoula Montana. I love playing here, especially butted up against the beginning of spring! People are ready to get out of the house with great enthusiasm. Looking forward to seeing and hearing you in Santa Fe and OK City. My 85 year old mother and I will be driving home from Palm Desert to Traverse City, MI. After your shows we will catch the solar eclipse in AK and Jobi Riccio with the Wood Brothers in Memphis before heading north. It’s going to be a great road trip😀💗☀️🌈☮️

I also do the Tiger balm thing a lot since getting sober. This was hilarious to me! It’s kind of like a reward at the end of the day before sleeping. I’m impressed you made it through the show with such high/good energy because it makes me want to sleep! lol. Travel safe and see ya next chance I can get!

Montana is where this Aussie has been a few times, we had/have friends in Kalispel, Missoula, Helena a great beautiful place to visit.
Sad to think of how mobile we were then and took it for granted.
